Kangaroo Disability Services is excited to announce that we are now providing disability support services in Tasmania, with our first team members now based in Hobart.
Since starting in South Australia in 2021, Kangaroo Disability Services has grown through a strong commitment to person-centred support, meaningful community participation and genuine relationships with participants and families. Expanding into Tasmania is an important step in continuing that work and supporting more people to live with confidence, independence and choice.

“Expanding into Tasmania is an important milestone for Kangaroo Disability Services and a reflection of the trust participants and families have placed in our team,” said Founder and CEO Manish Kumar.
“Our goal has always been to build a service where people feel respected, valued and supported to live the life they choose. We’re excited to bring that same approach to Tasmania and support more people to live independently and confidently in their communities.”
Our Tasmania services will initially focus on providing flexible disability support for NDIS participants in Hobart and surrounding areas. This includes assistance with daily activities, community participation and support that helps individuals build skills, confidence and independence in everyday life.
The Tasmania team is led by Operations Lead Jyoti, who joined Kangaroo Disability Services in 2024 and brings experience in the disability sector along with a strong commitment to safe, respectful and person-centred care. Her role focuses on supporting participants, building relationships within the local community and helping establish Kangaroo Disability Services as a trusted provider in Tasmania.
“I’m really excited to be based in Hobart and to be part of this important milestone for Kangaroo Disability Services,” Jyoti said.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with participants and families in Tasmania and support people to build confidence, independence and meaningful connections in their community.”
Kangaroo Disability Services looks forward to building strong relationships with participants, families, support coordinators and community organisations across Tasmania as the service continues to grow.
