Hi there, I'm Jyoti, Operations Lead – Tasmania

Jyoti joined Kangaroo Disability Services in May 2024 and now leads our operations in Tasmania, supporting participants across Hobart and surrounding areas. With experience in the disability sector and a strong commitment to person-centred care, she plays an important role in ensuring participants receive consistent, respectful and high-quality support.

Holding a Certificate III in Disability Support along with training in first aid, CPR and manual handling, Jyoti brings both practical expertise and a calm, thoughtful approach to her work. She believes the best support starts with listening.

By understanding what matters most to each person, she helps create an environment where participants can build confidence, develop independence and feel genuinely valued.

One of the things Jyoti enjoys most about her role is seeing participants grow in confidence and achieve personal goals. Whether those moments are big milestones or small everyday wins, she finds it deeply rewarding to be part of a journey that helps people live fuller and more connected lives.

Outside of work, Jyoti enjoys cooking and baking, spending time with family and taking late-night walks under the stars. She also loves relaxing with friends over good food or a light-hearted comedy that brings plenty of laughter.

Based in Hobart, Jyoti is excited to help grow Kangaroo Disability Services in Tasmania and looks forward to building strong relationships with participants, families and the local community.
