Hi there, I'm Deep, Team Leader

Deep joined Kangaroo Disability Services in January 2026 as a Team Leader, bringing experience in disability and aged care support along with a strong focus on creating a positive and well-coordinated environment for both participants and staff.

In his role, Deep oversees day-to-day operations including shift handovers, rostering, coordinating outings and supports, and ensuring clear communication across the team. His calm and practical approach helps keep things running smoothly while supporting both participants and staff with consistency and care.

Deep has a background in support work and holds a Certificate III in Individual Support, along with training in first aid, medication administration and manual handling. His experience across different care settings allows him to confidently support participants with a range of needs while maintaining a strong focus on safety, dignity and independence.

What Deep finds most rewarding is seeing participants build independence and confidence, as well as watching team members grow in their roles. He values creating an environment where both participants and staff feel supported and empowered.

Deep describes himself as calm, practical and approachable. Outside of work, he enjoys early-morning walks, volunteering at the gurdwara and trying new recipes. His favourite meal is rarha chicken with garlic naan, and if he could have any superpower, it would be the ability to pause time so he can solve problems properly without anyone feeling rushed.

Deep plays an important role in supporting the Kangaroo Disability Services team and ensuring participants receive reliable, high-quality support every day.
