At Kangaroo Disability Services (KDS), our weekly Art & Craft classes are more than just a fun activity—they’re a space for self-expression, creativity, and skill-building. This week, our talented artists took on Turtle Texture Art and Golden Mirror Bottle Art, two stunning projects that sparked imagination and joy!
Bringing Turtles to Life with Texture & Mirrors 🐢✨
Our participants dived into a 3D artistic experience, crafting turtle-themed artwork with a twist—using mirrors to create a textured, reflective effect!
🔹 Why Texture Art? Working with different materials and layers helps build fine motor skills, sensory awareness, and creative thinking.
🔹 The Magic of Mirrors: The addition of mirrors in each turtle scale brought the designs to life, making them glisten with light and movement.
🔹 Confidence & Expression: Art offers a therapeutic way to communicate emotions and ideas, fostering confidence in each participant’s unique abilities.

Creativity truly knows no bounds, and this week’s Golden Mirror Bottle Art project was a shining example!
