First Cooking Class of 2025: A Delicious Start!
We’ve kicked off the new year in the most flavourful way possible, and what a fantastic first class it was! On the menu for this week: Marinated Butter Chicken served with spiced parathas and rice—a true comfort meal to warm both heart and soul. To top it off, Stephen delighted everyone with his famous Snickers Slice for dessert.
With our chef away, the dynamic duo of Joseph and Sue stepped in to lead the session, and they brought their A-game! Their teamwork and enthusiasm kept the kitchen buzzing, proving that passion and collaboration make any meal taste even better.
Of course, no class is complete without plenty of laughter! Nathan and J****a brought their signature cheeky humour, keeping everyone entertained and reminding us why food and fun go hand in hand. As someone wisely said, “Food truly brings people together,” and this session was no exception.
Fun Fact of the Day:
Did you know Butter Chicken was created by accident in the 1950s? A chef in Delhi mixed leftover chicken with a buttery tomato gravy, and the result was a dish so iconic, it became a global favourite. What a delicious mistake!
