What an incredible experience at the DAL Expo this past Saturday, October 12th, held at the Jubilee Pavilion, Adelaide Showground!

The Kangaroo Disability Services (KDS) team was thrilled to be part of this vibrant and impactful event, organised by Catalyst Foundation. With 5,282 attendees and 233 organisations coming together, this year’s Expo was the perfect platform to showcase the latest in disability, ageing, and lifestyle services.

A Day of Connection and Inspiration

The atmosphere at the Expo was nothing short of inspiring. Attendees flooded the booths, eager to explore resources, ask questions, and make meaningful connections. The Expo’s mission to foster awareness, support, and empowerment aligns seamlessly with our own values here at KDS, and we were delighted to contribute to such an inclusive event. From networking with other dedicated providers to engaging with participants and their families, we felt the energy and enthusiasm of a community united by a common goal: enhancing lives through quality services and innovative solutions.

Showcasing Our Comprehensive Services

At the KDS booth, our team had the pleasure of introducing our premium disability services to an engaged audience, sharing details of our current and upcoming initiatives. Managing Director Manish Kumar and Chef Michelle O’ Hara, connected with attendees to discuss our wide range of services, with particular enthusiasm around our cooking program led by Chef Michelle, which has been met with outstanding success in helping participants develop new skills and foster independence.

Highlighting Our Commitment to Empowerment

Our interactions with attendees and their families underscored a shared belief in the importance of community and support. Every conversation reaffirmed our commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives. We were able to highlight the role that disability service providers play in delivering high-quality, person-centred care, fostering independence, and promoting personal growth.

A Special Thanks to Catalyst Foundation and the DAL Expo Team

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Rosetta Rosa, Catalyst Foundation, and the entire DAL Expo team for hosting such a well-organised and impactful event. Their dedication to building connections, raising awareness, and promoting accessibility has created a vital resource for individuals across the disability and ageing communities.
